Hi again,
Did you know that Halfords ( yes I know ......) stock a range of hard wax lipstick style touch up products. I have one for my met green Chimp and It's not bad at covering up those light hits. You can also purchase a film for the front of your car. I had on on my previous car (3.2 911) and it worked well. A number of serious automotive shops can supply via mail order if needed.
Cheers

It's me again ,

They are generic but work well enough on met colours too.

I went to the fairy small Halfords near by yesterday but they didnt stock it, I asked one of the staff about a paint stick for covering up stone chips. He said "yes sir we have the very thing" and gave me a tub of black underbody wax oil. lol quality, I smiled and said, ahh thats not quite what I am looking for.

Hi ya,
Can't get the bloody staff these days !!

It is a Turtle Wax CHIPSTICK.
What's your location?
I travel around the UK quite a lot and I could call in to look at your beast (I mean the car).
Talk soon.
Cheers
