For years I have longed to own a TVR but with a young family & all that goes with it I thought it was just a pipe dream.
Time goes on..family gets a bit older..it looks like it could happen one day.
So I started to look at sites like this one to find out as much as I could about the cars. I did all the usual stuff, joined the TVRCC, spoke to dealers & owners and drove as many as I could.
I watched the likes of MikeyT as he searched & found his car & remember being very happy ( & jealous ).
It had to be a 5.0l Griffith..& as of Friday evening it is!!!
I collected my dream this weekend & Im so made up its silly.
Cosmos Blue, 96 N, fantastic condition all checked out by Rob Ingleby & it even fits in my very small garage.

So if anyone in the Bromley area fancies a drink & a chat to welcome a new owner I would love to hear from you, & I look forward to making it to some E.Sussex TVRCC meets in a proper car this time!

Congratz Nick,

I wish you could bottle the feeling when you get a new car, especially one you've dreamed about for years.

Keep grinning, and if you blast along the seafront in Hove, give us a wave

Thanks for the replies-nice to hear from you. I have seen a few local Tivs & exchanged waves over the weekend.

I will try to make a Kent meet asap (Gary if you need a lift drop me a line). Also plan to be at the next
E. Sussex meet assuming its at The Farmers, maybe meet up for the next Sunday drive.

I live near Homesdale Rd but I dont think I was there on Friday night,I did go down there on Saturday, silly grin firmly in place!!

Sure to bump into some of you soon

Hi NIck,

Just caught up with this thread ... so pleased you've got your car at last and hope you are enjoying it.

It's truly an unbelievable feeling when you sign on the line and they toss you the keys (but leave your wallet very light).

Enjoy it!
