How do I post pics?

It's quiet at work today so I thought I would post a couple of pics of my Griffith. Anyone know how to do this?

Unless I am doing it wrong (probably!) this just gives links to the photos, how do I get the photos to actually appear in the text?

You put the [ pic ] and [ /pic ] tags either side of the URL.

I've just edited your post. It looked like the brackets were missing from the pic tags. Anyway, it's sorted now. Nice car

You have to have your picture 'hosted' somewhere first; PH only links to where it is. So you'll have to get a domain (your e-mail provider may give you some space), upload (ftp) your picture to that space, then put the URL (www.etc)into the PH link.

I have never managed to upload anything to anywhere, despite having three domains, Terrapin and Frontpage. Fotango bewilders me, so anyone who can make all the above work has my respect!

In due course I may provide some gallery space for members of PH on this server. I just need to establish the costs of bandwidth etc and work out the best means of funding it.
