I asked this between buying mine and picking it up. (Great timing as I'd already paid the deposit!)
My garage door is about 2200-2300 wide so the 1950 was a concern.
I brought the car home popped down the drive any into the garage and then remembered about the supposed lack of space (!!)
Width wise it looks lost in there but its pretty long though by comparisson to my previous car.
I now use some pipe lagging over the door frame at mirro rheight to avoid any potential mishaps and pull the car 3/4 of the way in and then jump out and push it the last bit to avoid risking hitting my door on the garage side door frame.
I should fit in most garages as mine is not a big garage.

Either that or keep the roof off whilst its in the garage.
I am 6'6" and I could get in/out with the roof off with the door only open about 12" or less.
Keep the rear screen up so as not to damage it but I always left my roof panel in the garage (along with the irritating spare wheel that just wouldn't stay still).
