While we're on the subject of rev counters... Assuming Griff rev counters are the same as Chim ones, do they all bounce around the guage like they're on drugs? Accelerate hard and mine just oscillates around, eventually heading for the revs I'm actually doing, by which time it just starts all over again as I change up. Changing down is just as bad if you blip the throttle to match the revs... Should I just ask TMS to fit me some change lights instead?

Marshy, that shouldn't happen. On my Griff 500, it shows the revs without lag or jumping around even when blipping the throttle.

As long as it is not bouncing around like Tigger on acid then I reckon this is normal. Mine (Griff 500) could certainly never be described as linear. Worth checking at the next service though just in case. In the meantime, listen !

Mine works as I'd expect it EG properly with no erratic jumping around (well depending on my driving).
