Does anyone agree with me that the Zertec Griffith headlamp upgrades and the inclusion of the grill transform the car into one eye catching mother of a car!

Despite this fact, I have yet to see anyone out there with the mods.

Is there something I should be aware of-like they are crap or is it that I am just not paying enough attention?

Has anyone got any pearls on this as I want them badly!

cheers
D

Yes, all these mods can be very exciting and sometimes tempting. But if you regard the Griffith as a 'future classic', think back to a car that's similar in some ways - the Jaguar E-Type. Would you want to buy an E-Type that someone had carved up with a chain-saw in 1971? It might look great and striking and different, but it wouldn't be a genuine E-Type any more. That's why I wouldn't do anything to mine that's not removeable.

Its fibreglass. The whole freekin thing is "removeable". Its not like the body panels are irreplaceable, they have tins full of new 'panels' in Halford fer chrissakes!

Got the lights, got the grill and got the sports exhaust on my 4.3. I think they look the business, the improvement in terms of seeing where I am going at night is worth it alone. Yes, it may be a future classic, but it is never going to be worth mega-bucks, so a small drop in value, if there is one, is in my view worth it... I have this car to enjoy, npot as an investment!. As it happens, my conversion came about as a result of a minor interface with some armco at mallory park, so the original nose was not intact anyway. You cannot get the 4/4.3 nose any more. If you need a new front end it comes in the 5.0 fom only, so bang goes "classic" status anyway!

Oh, and by the way, a pre cat with the Zertec exhaust... what a noise!! Awsome.
