Driving through Reading last night and saw the Griffith which featured in Evo magazine's article on buying second hand Griffiths (I think). The front left wing was mashed ouch!

If it was the silver one then that was "simpo one" who used to own it.

It was silver and had the TVR plate which was featured in the shoot (which if you looked closely said canis testiculae which I thought was the dogs bollocks ho ho)

Yes, it was indeed my car and the one that was in EVO - though fortunately after I'd sold it. The new owner rang me to confess; he was distraught at stuffing his pride and joy.

BCMS: Congrats, your Latin is on form! My girlfriend found the phrase in a TVR book.

I also heard that someone was killed in another silver Griff in the same region, though no connection to this incident.

The third silver Griff is still safe with me though!

How much did you get for it? As a highly publicised car I would have thought you would have got good money and it will help me feel better about my depreciating Griff!
