Bloody Windscreen Wipers

Anyone ever had a problem with their windscreen wipers only working at full speed. When I put them on the slow and intermitent don't work, but the fast does.

Yup, they're pathetic. Why it isn't possible to substitute a more powerful motor that actually makes the b*ggers move on a dry screen I don't know...

I have a second hand Griff and the drivers side has a lovely arc in it! I have just found a new problem which is unless the wipers are on constant, they do not return to the correct possition, leaving themselves in just about any inappropriate part of the screen!?! Any ideas on this one!?

Ive still got the problem, but now the intermitent works, but only every five minutes or so...there I am driving along, turned the wipers off, five minutes later they work, then stop again...very bizare!

Think this is quite a common easy to fix problem... I think its a dodgy relay which only cost a few quid to get replaced.. it happened twice on my first Griff.

Its the dirt keeping it together at the moment....and all those dead insects I managed to kill on the way up from London.

Thanks for the help...all seems fine now..hit a large pot hole this morning and now the wind screen wipers work perfectly..
