Given the battery location and the fact I'll be using the car only when its sunny I would assume that I'll have issues with the battery.

I've already got a trickle charger with automatic maintenance mode.

2 Questions :

1) do I need anything different charger wise to my existing trickle charger and 2) would it be worth buying these remote terminals www.europaspares.com/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_Battery_Accessories__27.html (see very bottom item) and having my local autoelectrician fit them in the boot or under the bonnet for charging ?

Go to www.tvrbooks.co.uk and download/look at the Griff sample chapter on batteries, chargers etc.

I use the cigarette lighter to connect a battery maintenance charger. Lot easier and cheaper than doing anything else.

Had me Griff for nearly 5 weeks now - the car came with a trickle charger - and thankfully an under bonnet jump start connection from Leven Technology. I say thankfully since I've already used it.... would recommend fitting somrthing similar.

Bet you can't wait - I know what I was like waiting for mine - 5 weeks and still haven't stopped grinning.
Enjoy!

I Use a Optimate 3 which i use through the cigarette lighter on the Griffith (not much at the mo though).
and have an adapter on my CBR600 that is connected to the battery and runs out to the edge of the fairing to plug in.

The later adapter could also be a way connecting to the battery on the griff and running out into the bonnet or under the dash somewhere,if u didnt trust the cig lighter option.
