Just a reminder that you shouldn't reverse the battery polarity (by accident or on purpose). I was in a hurry this weekend to sort out a flat battery and I did this very thing. I have just waved a fond farewell to part of the wiring loom, the alarm and the alternator. One word ... ARSE!

I'm pretty sure that you can reverse the polarity on the Alternator, if you need help pop me an Email.

Once sorted, get a charger with polarity protection.
ACCUMATES are excellent. park the car plug it into its own lead and its ready to go in - 1 hour or 1 year! And you can leave you're alarm on!
Good Luck.

I have actually got one of these but I didn't want to wait for a couple of hours whilst it recovered the battery from nothing! Why didn't I have it connected you ask? Er .....
