East Riding TVRs/Yorkshire

Wanting to buy a Griffith and live in North Cave, 25 miles from York, 50 miles or so from Harrogate. Anyone service their car at the York Specialist car company?? Or will it be a case of having to drive all the way to Harrogate for a service?? Do they supply courtesy cars??
Also, if buying privately how can one get a car inspected professionally buy a TVR expert? Do you think most TVR owners mind taking their car to be given a going over at their nearest TVR dealership????????????
