My bonnet seems to have bent somehow making it tight on the drivers side and leaving an unsightly gap on the passenger side, anyone had any experience of this and if so how do the adjusters work and do they move the boonet sideways or are the lifts bent??

You are sure you have the runners in the tracks??

If you are, the other possibility is that rollers have worked loose or become misshaped. They should be fairly close to the bonnet and not wiggle around. (mine worked loose and I had the bonnet wobbling around at speed).

Also the Nylon wears mine are certainly not round anymore, but if yours have worn on the end this maybe why the bonnet is offset.

Failing that... you've bent the hinges mate.

Think i must have bent the hinges then as the rollers are ok and as soon as u start putting it down u can see its gonna be close.
Will inspect again 2morrow.

The rollers on my bonnet seemed too close in to fit nicely in the tracks - if I wasn't careful one would fall out at the side. I unscrewed them (careful 'cos the middle bit falls out) and inserted nylon washers about 5mm thick. Much better now.
