...for the wife, to upgrade her old 1.6SE. In dark green with lovely beige leather recaros! 31k miles from a VW dealer. It's a '99 model, so only has 150bhp.
It's a big improvement on the old car, but the engine needs more torque, so I'm planning a visit to AMD in the near future. It's also quite thristy - but I was expecting that!
Still feels a bit soggy in the handling department though - any recommendations for suspension upgrades? I'd like nicely matched shocks/springs, as opposed to simply fitting shorter springs. Can't be TOO firm, as I don't want the wife to notice.
