Hi .....I'm new here, am usually found causing trouble on TVR forums as i also have a modified Griffith 500. However i had REAL grief today from my Fleet Manager. You see i have a 225 TT that EATS tyres having had 11 [yes eleven] in just 2 years and 45000 miles.FIVE of those 11 were blow outs and i woz wondering if others have experienced the same? Cheers...zz

Just replaced all 4 of mine for the first time. 18k miles. Surprised all 4 went at once on a car wich is FWD much of the time.

I guess without the blowouts you'd have only had 6 (4 front 2 back?) over 45k which is as long as I'd have heard any lasting.

Only problem I had was my P-Zeros wore in the middle despite correct pressures. A common complaint apparently. Now wearing in a set of F1s.

Hi Gren, thanks for the feedback.... I agree with the P zero's, they do wear down in the centre section quite rapidly. I did have one set of fronts go down to 2mm in only 8000 miles. Fleet Manager complained bitterly and was told they were an "unusual" set and reduced the cost of the new set. Others on the rear lasted 23000 miles. It don't make sense....zz
