Did you post this over on quattroforum too? My advice - save your money for a 100S4/6, or a ur which I know is what you really want. The V8 is considered by those who know to be about the most unreliable Audi ever built. Of course, you'll find people who've never had a thing go wrong... but not for nothing are they dirt cheap. Nice looking car though...

Ta for the advice. The car in question was on ebay (probably a bad omen) and the auction ended today at £1800. Also would have involved selling my car in a week to get the cash together.

Going to stick with the renault for another year or so then go for a good S6. a UR is just too expensive and not really the everyday car i need.
