Neither, my Leaon Cupra R urinates all over them from a great height.
R32 owners _really_ don't like it when they're outrun by a SEAT!
Certainly don't like it when bit's fall of the seat and hit my car Seat drivers always seem to have something to prove, if it was a race I'd just go home and get out the proper car instead of the shopping hatch and I'm not going to drive like a on the road to make a point (unlike the R driver who got all upset because I beat him from some traffic lights so proceeded to overtake me with on coming traffic having to swerve out of the way and me having to move to the very edge of the road to give him enough room not to collect anyone).
In all seriousness do you think they p!ss on an R32? In evo issue 52 (super hatch test) the R32 was a second quicker to 60 and more importantly 2.1 seconds quicker to a ton www.autoexpress.co.uk/roadtest/evo_roadtest_verdict.php?id=34173&start=2
I fully believe that a well driven cupra R could be a bit quicker accross country but p!sses on may be taking it a bit far. Same driver in each and I'd say it would be much or a muchness, unless it was raining when the VW could get it's power down better.
I also worry about the seat drivers causing an accident when they've been bored to death by the engine note.
R32 every time.
But the main factor is the dealer IMO. VW/ Audi dealers are a patchy bunch, with some of them being truly the worst in the motor industry in my opinion.
I would buy the car from whatever dealer gave the best service and seemed the most approachable and willing.
Which is why Seat Leons are more popular. As well as being better value, the dealers are often better too...

Thats the problem with choosing the perfect car is'nt it? That dream sporty car is often so unsociable. You can't squeeze your GF and her two cute friends inside a 911 or a Caterham on a Friday night..
Which is why my dream garage includes a big car too. I had an X5 for a while (which I often miss dearly) Had such a laugh with carrying friends around in comfort and space

Didnt like the golf to common plus there is a new shape golf here now so the R32 is starting to look dated

erm, i'd guess i'd have the R32 then... sounds like it's time for me to borrow and read-up on some car magazines.
moving on, i havent seen any R32s about (in Surrey) though i wouldnt attempt to take one on at the lights (not that it wud be responsible to). Top Gear didnt seem that impressed with its driver feedback/fun rating - has anyone given some welly in one - is it easy to oversteer?
