Off to have my RS6 ECU re-programmed on Tuesday to give 500 BHP with 690MN of torque.

Anyone on the board had this modification done?

Be interested in the feedback.

I got into several conversations with RS6 owners having this mod done at Kim Collins when I had my RS2, you could see the joy on there faces when they returned from the test drive....
And the one bloke who had a brand new RS6 delivered to them for every single upgrade and that was after every box had been ticked at Audi for options, I mean he had a 3 grand exhaust put on to replace the unused one!!! That car must have been 80 grand all in.
By all accounts the chip change is good enough.
I am in the wrong job.
Honestly you will love it!

I dont know anyone who has had it done although there is lots of discussion about it on www.rs6.com/

I would be interested to know your thouts though once its done, particularly as to how useable it still is as an everyday car.

After assessing the upgrade for 1000 miles now, I can only say I'm delighted with it.

The car is far more responsive, and way keener to rev to the redline. I have to say I was sceptical that a huge difference to justify the £1800 + VAT would be felt, but I'm glad I spent my money.

After a 200 mile drive on greasy East Anglian A & B roads today, the car is now absolutely devastating.

Added bonus is the increased induction roar!

Mal, in answer to your question, driveability is unaffected. I use my car everday and have done 12k in 5 month. Debadged, dechromed with anthracite wheels, I can't think of a better day to day car in the UK.
