just tested it at work was very similar to the Mk 4

personally i couldnt see much difference in the quality of the interior trim as SOOO many reviews had complained about.

which model did you drive?

it was a european model the 1.9 tdi 105 bhp maual was quite nippy.

the interior is a pretty mix and match affair with the dash from a touran and the seats from a mk4 golf and steering wheel and clocks from a new polo was nice to drive well nicer than the 307 we had to compare it with

that really doesnt take much beating does it? im looking forward to the New Golf/New Astra/New Focus battle next year.

yeh the competition should be quite close the focus and the golf have prety much the same rear axle and suspension setup i think
