URGENT - Golf R32 fuel 95/98 RON?

Not sure if the above needs super unleaded. Does anyone know for sure? Collected Friday and dealership closed. Handbook technical pages says 98RON but fuel flap says 95/98 RON. Have long journey tonight and don't want top blow it up!

It'll be fine on either. If in doubt put in 98. The engine management will adjust accordingly.

i always go for 98RON Optimax, i swear that i really do feel a difference over std super 97RON. Definately get more mpg

Agree with above, I notice the MPG improvement of Optimax rather than power - 225 TT.

3.2 owners have said though that there appears to be no difference between Ul and SUL though.

The addendum in my R32 handbook states Super (97) or above only.
