It's BS the only way you can extract more power from an n/a is to give it more air and fuel. Consdier that the 20v head flows very well already then you should maybe look to the exhaust or sme new cams for more power.

b*llshit, I am afraid,it is a 50P resistor that confuses your MAF to give you a couple more horses at the expense of smoothness and overall lifetime. Avoid at all costs.

If you want more power, a decent exhaust (miltek)and high flow CAT is the next best thing, a proper remap (not this) will give you a little, but for serious gains you are looking at headwork or cams as previously suggested.

By the way, if you have a UK mk 4 golf GTI you either have a 1.8L 20v turbo or an 8v 2l, VW never offered the NA 20V on the Golf in the UK, I am pretty sure it was only offered on the SEAT and Skoda

The UK mk4 Golf did come with the 125bhp 20v 1.8 badged as a GTI.

Indeed - for quite a few years too. My girlfriend had a T-reg GTI (with a silver I, rather than the red I of the turbo version) and it was utterly anaemic and crap.

yep, 20v 1.8 N/A was replaced by the 2.0 8v - emmissions regs I think.
