Is the A3 1.6FSI a slug?

Thinking of going for an A3 as my next company car.
I really wanted the 2.0TDI, but I also want aircon, and the Sport/SE is outside my limit (so is a specced-up standard model).
I could have a 1.6 FSI Sport/, but looking at the 0-60 figure fills me with dread - 10.9 seconds!!!
Anyone here got one (or driven one)? what does it go like in "real-world" conditions?

I am currently running around in an A2 1.6FSI as my A4 is in for repairs.

It isn't too bad in the A2, sounds quite nice and seems relatively torquey (sp?) and generally is able to keep up with other traffic.

I think it's quoted as 110bhp. OK for the little A2, but I'd want to try one in an A3 before you decide....
