How many miles do you get off a tank in a new model RS6?

Hi there,

I'm considering buying an RS6 Avant, but am wondering how frequently I'll end up stood at the pump. Please can any RS6 owners out there let me know how many miles I can roughly expect from a full tank?

NB - I used to have a B5 RS4, which needed refilling every 200 miles got a bit boring (even if it was a great car).

It rather depends on what load / roads your using it. Mixed town/country expect 250 miles, motorway sub 100 leptons cruise I get abt 310 miles range. Nailing it sub 200 miles. Graet car by the way, ignore the naysayers.

Normally get 240 miles ...but first week only 90.. :-D

I'd agree with the Mrs. Though I'd put that urban number down to rush hour stop/start rush hour traffic.
Although I have an '04 Avant I was lent a new model for 24 hours recently to see if I could be tempted to upgrade. Only covered 100 or so miles and found consumption in both cars very similar. For .1 of a second faster 0-60 I still found it hard to justify the significant extra cost.
