Where to buy a Quattro

A good place to start. There aren't really many specialist dealers though. Best to go though private ads, and the owners club.

Depends what your budget is. 20v can be tuned more than the 10v, and has more power as standard and has all of the little mods that audi came up with from the 10v.

Good choice
AM Cars are a good starting point. Also try Audi Driver Magazine and the Quattro Owners Club website classifieds.
If you have the budget a 20V (RR engine) is the best car IMHO. Ive not seen a really nice one below 10K however.
I owned an late MB engined 10V car for 4 years. These are normally 88 or 89 cars on E,F or G plates. You pay 5-8K for one and you get the Torsen diff (less understeer), better brakes and less turbo lag than the earlier WR 10V engined cars. 10V cars also sound better I reckon!
I think the MB 10V is a great second choice at lower outlay. Mine was totally reliable at 140,000 miles and held its value extremely well. It's much missed.
