A4 central locking problem, still, please help me!!!

Hi guys, if anyone can shed any light as to whats going on with my central locking, or point me to someone that can help, i will be eternally grateful!!

Ok, 2 weeks ago the central locking on my 1999 a4 tdi stopped working. I could hear the pump running but the doors would do nothing!
I stripped the pump down to find the usual graphite impeller parts in 1000 pieces!! I ordered a new kit (genuine audi) which came yesterday.

So today i re-fitted the new motor and parts in the pump and slotted it back in, hit the fob unlock button and nothing happens, and attempting to lock is the same.
The motor is running, and i can hear the solenoid clicking but i seem to be getting no air out the ports on the top of the pump at all. Ive taken it apart 2 times now to double check everything is correctly fitted inside and as far as i can see it is.

Is there something im missing/failed to do in the re-fit sequence that anyone can tell me about?

For the love of god someone please help me!!

Just an idea -http://www.briskoda.net/ - quite a few VAG trained guys on there and a lot of the goodies on each are common -so who knows .

Just thought on - seen you're Midlands - look on that site for unit 18 - run by bloke on there ,it's near Northampton .
