Door Trim removal RS2

A friend of mine has just purchased a RS2 and has an annoying rattle from the passenger door , any advise on how to remove the panel ? no obvious screws etc

if it is the front door then he is in for a real treat....

these guys had fun doing it on an S2 (same fittings) and the thread gives lots of helpful hints.

Don't be put off. IIRC the door is the same as my Audi 80 and if you take the screw out the end of the trim (slam panel end) the two screws off the grap handle trim and then undo the two bigger screws underneath that you should find the door panel lifts vertically and comes off. (Watch for wiring at this point.)

Assembly is the reverse of removal

(I have done it in about an hour (off and back on again))
