Did anyone catch last nights episode
They are grafting a scooby engine and 4x4 running gear into a Mk2 for Jonny Vegas.

This should be a right weapon driving

Maybe if you want to keep it all VW, but I bet it'll go better with the Subaru kit. It's much better then Haldex, as you can have it rear biased, try that with Haldex.

(BTW I'm not anti-VW, I drive an S3)

i saw that, although it should be mentioned that subaru runnigng gear in a VW isnt new - there was a mk1 golf with WRX running gear an engine built a few years ago!

To be honest they should have quit after they had put the engine an running gear on and left it looking like a mk2. What they did to the bodywork was dreadful and beyond hidious, the subaru rear end and the box arches looked truely horrific to me and whats worse is the mk2 looked like a really solid good condition example prior to being cut about.

i was also surprised by the owner - never imagined Jonny V in a mk2.

What a waste of a golf! Definately should of put the Scooby kit in then kept it standard MK2 on the outside.
