OK Guys, got a 2000 golf TDi. Weld at back of cat has gone, and today something else blew, because it sounds like a tractor.
I use an ex VW guy to maintains it, and he is good, but have been told that only a genuine VW part will do, as in his experience, after market parts are just not that good.
Anyone had experience of OEM exhauts on a TDi, in particular the front pipe?
BTW its the original, and done 166,000.
