Just got a price from my local main stealership for the service.

£448.23!!

This includes new Oil Filter / Air Filter and brake fluid change.

I've recently used Dean hill (4-rings service)- he's a mobile mechanic based in kent and he's ex maidstone audi.

Another vote for Dean at 4 rings, put it this way he's just done a major on my S4 which included plugs (all 8 of them!) and it was considerably cheaper than what the stealer quoted you for a intermediate service using far less oil (which is always the expensive part) if you PM me I'll happily send you his mobile number.

Oh yes and as said he's mobile and will happily do the service on your drive or in work carpark (but not on the road), oh sod it i'll mail you.

Yup, Dean at 4rings Audi for me. When we had an A6 he was the man I called. He serviced ours just before the warranty expired and said it needed a new EGR valve. I took it to a Kent stealer, and explained what needed doing. They asked how I knew what work needed doing and I explained that Dean advised it and said it would be covered under warranty. They just said "Oh, Dean serviced it. That's fine" and did the work there and then without any further investigation.
Top bloke and very professional.
