So what sort of prices are the Stealers offering for late 06 cars with about 13k miles on them these days?
anyone know as I'm thinking of changing my car but don't really want to get royally shafted.

Mid 30s - I know that's vague but a car in need of a service, brakes & tyres will be 2 grand less than one that doesn't.

Are you looking to sell it quickly? Our wanted ad is in the classifieds if you are.

well its been serviced I'm gonna put new tyres on it in case I want to keep it so with that in mind?

No I'm not looking to get out in a hurry. Just keep thinking of other cars and wondering what I can or rather should be able to afford.

Erm hanf on theres a demand for these things and yet you'll only give mid 30's for an 18 month old example with low mileage. Erm what exactly do you sell them on for?

Have a nose on Autotrader, even main dealer cars are comfortably under 40.

Lots of people expecting retail money for trade cars right now - there was a good old honeymoon period on these with very solid prices but they're falling back down to earth now.

Sold an 07 Avant for under 40 recently...

you've got to hope so.
I really can't believe that a CaymanS of which there are seemingly quite a few for sale and an RS4, not so many, has held its value better. Whatever happened to supply and demand?

I was surprised to hear that saloons hold their better than avants, and not surprised to here black/grey/sprint hold their value best.

black saloon owner smile

would hope my 10k mile 07 fully loaded car could get lowish 40s, not that I am selling

exactly the same here. Dec 06 (it turned up 3 weeks early) black saloon. Pretty much fully loaded and again not really that interested in selling I just like to keep an eye on the market. Which for reasons I can't understand seem to be worse than it should be.
