VW owners show yourselves!
Discussion
Following the expansion of this forum to include VW's I thought it would be good to know what VW owners are out there and of course what cars they've got.
In my case:
Mk1 Golf GTI 1.8 Campaign Edition (Lhasa Green)
Currently undergoing a rebuild, which will incorporate a few subtle upgrades while remaining standard looking (no Max Power mods honest!). Aim is to have it one the road for next summer (though I said that this time last year).

I'm a PH newbie, Nottingham-based, mk3 '97 black Golf GTi (2.0ltr) 16v owner. It's in good nick, has sporty air filter and exhaust and I'm in the process of upgrading the brakes and suspension before chiptuning.
Will do more as I can afford more, the car is a sort of project being my first sporty model, but I don't aspire to parking outside McDonalds and playing my stereo dead loud. Bodywork will remain standard, performance and handling will be improved! Always want more...

Always owned VW's and probably always will have one! Started with a Beetle (we all have to start somewhere), then a MK1 GTi,Then a MK2 8v GTi(great car), Then a sensibly modified Rallye, which I vowed i'd never ever sell. But I now have a house and the Rallye had to go
At the moment I have an old passat estate, but it is a 2.0 GT 16v (complete with PH stickers!)which does the job for now

'87 Mk2 8v gti- Plans are in place to convert this into a 1990cc 16v engined track beast sometime this milenium (its been planned for a very long time)
2 weeks ago there was a Mk3 2.0 16v track prepped car in the list too
I am prone to collect worrying quantities of old v dubs tho so the list is constantly changing

Hi everyone, my first post here.
I've got a Pearl Blue 1989 Golf Rallye with a few engine mods. Had it 4 years now, might sell soon as there are so many other cars I'd like to try or own.
Hi Danster - remember me?! Sorry to hear the Rallye's sold, I did see the ad in evo magazine and twigged it was yours.
