Audi 100 S4, 5 cyl Turbo. Quattro. 6 speed Manual

My mate got hold of this mega rare car a few years ago, is stupidly fast (same 5 cylinder twin cam engine as the legendary Quattro rally cars )

Point is it was a bit of a restoration project that never happens and now its MOT and Tax have run out and he wants rid of it. General opinions in the trade are weigh it in with scrappy, but there must be some hard core enthusiasts out there somewhere who would at least want the thing for parts of not the whole car.

I’ve seen runners for £2500 ish so He’s not expect a shed load of money. As i said has no MOT or Tax but runs great, no smoke on startup etc.

Any idea’s of clubs/ websites etc that might be best place to advertise for sale to get best price. Any help gratefully appreciated.

Hi,

You are right in thinking there are enthusiasts for these, you could try www.S2forum.com or www.Audifans.net.

Try here, and quattroforum.com

Should get £1200 for it if it's not in a really bad way. Don't be fooled into thinking it's rare unless it's an Avant. There are some real sheds out there fetching good money, so don't give up on selling it yet.

S2forum.com is your best bet.

We have a 100 S4 Avant as our workhorse. With some 996 calipers on it now it can be quite fun.

Here it is Audi 100 S4, 5 Cylinder 20v Turbo Quatro. K reg (1994 I think) Leather interior, 6 speed manual, lockable rear diff. It looks black in the pics, but is in fact midnight blue.
OK finally got round to doing some pictures. As I said before seller is a good friend of mine, got hold of the car with intention of restoring it, ran it for a year or so, but change of job meant the restoration never took place. I drove it before it came off the road and it goes like stink.
Lot of service history all Audi dealers and specialist. Car has stood probably 6 months now, and as you would expect its a little tatty. Battery is dead but with jump start, fires first time with no noises or smoke. Can be heard running but no tax or MOT so road test a problem. But it does drive, gearbox diff, clutch etc all working order.
Scrappy offered £350 so its worth more than that just as a dead weight, Must be an ideal parts/downer car, or restoration project for enthusiast.
The sellers name is Roy, he is a genuinely nice bloke, just trying to get a sensible amount of money. Car is in Weeley in Essex.
Any questions, any inspection welcome. Any sensible offers considered. But I know he Wants £1000 for it, I think its worth that too.
You can get hold of Roy on 07932 988521.

He'll be waiting a long time. Probably best breaking it for parts. The S4 engine and 6 speed box is a popular conversion.

Any sensible offer considered.

He wont break it for parts, purely as he doesn't have the time. Hoping someone with the will take the hole car and make them selves a bit of money doing just that.

If nothing happens, the scrappy man gets his 1.5 tons, 4 wheels and two catalyst for £350.

If you must scrap it then give All Audi in Bristol a call. They'll actually do something useful with it rather than send it to China.

If you were closer I'd probably have it, but it's a long way to go down to essex (yorkshire) from here and even then I don't have a trailer even half big enough.
