Audi MY1999 1.8T Quattro Sport - Front Springs open length
Discussion
Hi All,
We recently had the front springs replaced on our Audi MY1999 1.8T Quattro but after getting the car we think the gap between arch and tyre looks too high at the front.
The mechanic we use swears they are the correct front springs but I wondered if the 1.8T quattro is lower than the standard A4 model of the same MY and he just got normal A4 springs? He mentioned something about the old springs being 2" shorter than the ones he put on which he said was due to the age/compression of them
If anyone does know the open length of the front springs for this model that would be grand.
Cheers,
Dave

Sounds like BS to me, no way would springs degrade that much. He's fitted the wrong springs, that evident from the info you've given. Can't help with the info you need, though, sorry.Gassing Station | Audi, Seat, Skoda & VW | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
