Has anyone got one of these?

I am thinking of trading up from our A4 3.0 TDi Quattro estate to the A6 saloon. Similar spec but a bigger car. Its got the same engine but is a bigger car so I guess will be a little slower.

Any thoughts / recommendations would be very welcome.

Thanks

Got mine on the 1st March. I am well chuffed, just drove to Belgium last week with wife and 2 daughters plus all our luggage... Also looks much better than the standard models in my opinion.

Think Nicktowe on here had one, check with him.

I had the standard A6 3.0TDi and was a really impressive car, now swopped for an A8l with same engine.

I have had the avant version for just over a month. Very happy with it. I came from a Maserati and have not been disappointed. It's my first diesel and seems to go very well when you need it and double the mpgsmile

Build quality and spec attracted me. It may not be exotic, but it's a pleasant place to sit. Kids enjoy it too. A little more space and ps2 in back help.

I thought that it was a lot of money for an Audi and was considering an older RS6. Happy that I made the right choice.

Had my Avant for two weeks. Great car. Best steering feel of any Audi I've had. Pretty quick too and amazing mid-range pull. What I particularly like is that the diesel engine noise is well insulated so it just sounds like an engine, rather than specifically a diesel, and it also revs much more liek a petrol, pulling storngly up to the red line. Audi's MMI system is really good to use, and the standard stereo in the Le Mans (i.e. not Bose) is superb

I tried out an E320 CDi sport as well before deciding on the Audi - nowhere near as good to drive.

Thanks guys. Going to arrange to test drive it. Hopefully it will have the best bits fromt the engine and better handling and interior to my current A4.

Thanks again.
