What Engine Replacement for my 73 Bay?

Currently have a Vege 1600 with a big oil leak, probably n-flow cranky thing, new bus so new start, what would you suggest ..... ?

1641 on twin carbs?.

Or get a Scooby motor and whack that in. Look at TSR engine conversions, they do good work. I know a few people with scooby motors in campers and they're great.

Go for the later Type 4 configuration 2 litre engine.

Your engine bay is big enough, you will need to change the ancilaries though. A lot less work than changing to a scoobie engie though.
