Good afternoon Audi experts.
The Audi Extended warranty on my 2003 S6 is shortly due to expire and Im looking at options to extend or replace it with a decent independent equivulent.
Audi want over £1200 per year which is a bit scary although I acknowledge its a complex car.

Has anyone got any recommendations for alternatives or better quotes for an Audi warranty?
I just got an equivulent for Mrs Phlaps Merc for 500 quid which was a lot easier to swallow.

Thanks.

Why give Audi £1200 . waste of money . If it was me i would put the £1200 in a 6% plus savings account and if anything pops pay for it yourself... its like bookmaking audi have worked out the odds in their favour. Your regular servicing and maintenance should really be your insurance against things going wrong. They make twice . charge you to service and maintain , then to insure again against things going wrong.

Agreed. Thats what I decided to do. Its a whole pile of money and the car is fairly low mileage. Better the cash offsetting my mortgage than lining Audi's pockets!

I extend the warranty on my R32 through Wayside it was £900 for 3yrs and Wayside had set it up with an insurance company to match the first 2/3yrs VW factory/dealer warranty.

PM if you'd like to see a copy of the policy terms and conditions

A friend suggested I was wasting my money - 2mths in and the Cats went ... £900 for new cats so in reality I bought a set of cats and warranty is now free. biggrin ... kind of
