After a bad experience with a Porsche dealer damaging my new car prior to delivery, I decided to have my new RS4 checked over by an expert with a paint depth guage. After hearing about Glyn O'Donnell's work on this forum www.elitedetailer.co.uk , I asked him if her would inspect my car. He did, and after an hour using the latest paint depth technology confirmed the car was A1. A few day's later Glyn detailed my car. I must say the difference between the dealers application of Auto Gym and Glyn's work with Swisswax are like chalk and cheese http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXQsb62NvWI I was so impressed with the results, I asked Glyn to retrun and delail the wife's Disco.

Must admit I don't quite understand. I like looking after the cars I have but they stay that clean for about 5 seconds as soon as you drive them, so why bother? (Unless it's to sell.) Still, each to their own I guess.

had my RS4 detailed by a pro to correct paint and protect it with a layer of quality wax as my car parks on the street, also makes subsequent cleans much easier, I will get it done twice a year, the middle ones being a shorter application.

For the reason being I like to look after my cars and having decent wax applied helps to protect the paint from Bird S@#t and Insect intestines. It also helps to make washing much easier especially after a off road event or a trip to the ring.
