1.8T engine swap options

Wonder if anyone here can help or point me to the correct forum please......

I have a blown engine and Eurocarparts can no longer supply the whole engine. I have an AJH engine code 150HP, but it would appear that these are difficult to locate.

What I can source is a BAM code 225HP engine, ECU, loom, inlet/outlet maifolds and turbo. What I need to confirm is that the engines will mount and attach to the same gearbox.

Any ideas on a good VW forum? I only seem to be able to find forums that address less demanding technical solutions.

Might be worth contacting one of the VAG tuners out there...

Jabbasport and Dubsport are 2 that spring to mind...
