Knackered MAFs seem to be very common but easily replaced, if its std then should be OK pretty strong engines.

Cam Belt change, they used to be on the service schedule as not needed till 120,000 now dropped to 60,000 personally I wouldn't go over 40,000 without one.

What's the manufacturer date and mileage? You might want to check the coil packs have been replaced.

Make sure the temperature and fuel gauges are reading something sensible - if not, it can indicate dash pod failure.

Make sure the svc. is up to date. they need a diet of synthetic oil. I have found they are more prone to sludging up from lack of regular svc. than one would expect.
