Owned one for about a year (not bought new) and never had an issue with it. Wonderful car and when re-mapped as mine was, it was a faster car than my new RS4.

Had my avant for a few months now - it did have the usual suspension probs but Wimbledon Audi were superb and sorted it at no cost. Hugely capable car - just make sure you have a warranty and sit back & relax. Let's not forget the vanos on the M3 etc - a lot of German cars do have known issues. Basically it wasn't ever an 'Audi' - just based on the S6 with all the important bits bespoke - murceilago 8 pot brakes, cosworth engine etc. This may account for some of the problems people have had?? Sounds like there have been a few dogs out there but with such a rare car, you take your chances if you want something a bit different.

I think they are fabulous - bring on Le Mans!!

I've had mine since November and love it , I've replaced the DRC with a set of pss9's , done a full service inc cam belt . Fitted a set of 9.5x19 mtm bimoto's with ps2's .

What a car !! fast yet practical .
