Hello,
My A3 has developed a dashboard fault - the speedo, odometer, and cruise control have stopped working
My local spanner man replaced the sender unit(?) but this didn't solve the problem, he also tested the function of the speedo dial and it worked correctly.
I assume the prob is going to be a module of somesort which can only be done by a main stealer (would be Sutton Coldfield Audi) who want to charge £110/hr to diagnose.
Is this a common fault? Is the main dealer my only option (local indy - MacKenzies, Lichfield say they can't do it)? :/

TIA )

VAG.COM is a diagnostic cable and software that plugs into a laptop.
Many forums have a number of people throughout the country that would be willing to meet up with you to do a diagnostic check.
However this will normally only give a rough idea of the problem.
