so, after 6 weeks away at wimbledon Audi (if carlsberg made audi dealers.....etc etc) my car has returned. The body was always immaculate but now..

The list is extensive but in short, it has had, complete new suspension, new drilled brakes and pads, oil change, new gearbox fluids and an extensive and thorough checkover of everything, turbos, pipes, steering, compression, the list (and the bill), goes on....

It feels, like a new car. I dont mean in comparison to before, I mean, literally like a new car, taut, firm, ballistically fast and tight. the dealer reckons it must be one of the most sorted RS6s around now.

its so sorted, i'm chuffed.

many thanks to Audi Uk for their sterling efforts in getting this resolved for me. superb!

Hi Craig,

Ha! I live just down the road from you in Barnes, used to own a 348 and now have a silver RS6 Avant! Great minds think alike and all that eh!....

Question for you - had your suspension gone i.e. was making knocking sound because was leaking? My rear NS has started clonking a bit and I am wondering if I should be worried.

Cheers

Did they sort it under warranty?

not under warranty because car had only just been delivered by main dealer. Audi UK paid (long story but a VERY good gesture from them) A new RS4 order was placed off the back of it.

very nice to hear that seeing as I took delivery of my RS4 from Wimbledon Audi on Saturday (live in Putney), I look forward to receiving similarly good service
