Hi folks - please can I ask for your ideas on this :

I'm in my 2nd week of TT ownership - took car into work today & parked in a spot where I don't normally, along by our perimiter fence, with plenty of space between me and the vehicles in front and behind me.

Got home tonight and spotted a bloody great crack in the front bumper, right in the centre section between the top of the grill & the bonnet cry cry .After giving this some thought, and looking at the 'scuff mark' evidence, I'm practically certain that this was caused today by the idiot in the vehicle in front, which must have had a spare tyre fitted on the back door, and it was the bottom of the tyre that pushed hard up against my bumper causing it to crack - that's the only explanation I can think of as there is no apparent damage elsewhere on the grill, which of course protrudes futhrer forward lower down; although annoyingly I can't remember what it was exactly, I'm certain that the vehicle in front first thing today was at least people-carrier sized.

I've measured the hight from the ground that the bottom edge of the offending object must have been to cause the damage, which I reckon is about 68-70cm (or 2 foot 3 inches in old money). Any ideas on which 4x4 this might be! Also, any comment on repair costs would be welcome too.
Thanks,
Pete.
