2001 Audi RS4

First off hello,

Basicly iam looking into buying a 2000/01 model rs4. and iam really looking for advice on these cars and the things that i will have to be aware of when buying.

just so i dont waste the 22 odd grand iam willing to spend.

any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

I think half the battle with looking for one of these cars is finding one that hasn't been spanked or modified beyond the requirements of your average megalomaniac....lets not even go into the soft wheel issue either

If you're going to spend "£22k, consider a B6 S4 V8. It will be a lot newer, lower milage, no turbos, no cam belts, the difference in performance is not worth bothering about (the ring times are 1sec difference)for the Avant.

Looked at these a couple of years ago as a possible family car, but the rear roomis so tight with me driving its vertually a two seater (im 6'3" ). Worth considering if it will be used for carting kids etc
