My brothers 2003 225 TT is on its third day in the garage. He had a temperature gauge problem which was traced back to a faulty instrument binnacle. The Garage is saying that they are having problems down loading the info from the old to the new one. They will, as a gesture of good will, supply the Binnacle but he’s got to pay their (extortionate) labour charges. Or they will return it in its original and knackered state.

I remember (I think) reading something a while ago about his sort of problem, any one got any ideas?

The latest line from Audi UK is that they will replace FOC faulty TT instrument Pods, regardless of vehicle age, as long as it's not an 'import' ie a LHD motor. Get in touch with Audi Customer Service UK for more info.
Pete.

The dealer is now backtracking and refusing to do anything without being paid to carry out a full diagnostic to find out why their computer won't talk to the cars computer!
