Is it possible to change the old A4 grill for the new V shaped one?

Don't know, but I guess expensive if going to VAG route for parts/fitting

When you say 'old' A4 do you mean B5 or B6? There is a kit from Hoeffle to convert the B6 to B7 shape which involves bonding a composite part to your bonnet and replaceing the bumper plus full respray, £750 + VAT for parts plus labour and painting so approx. £11-1200 in total
