Help on audi engines & codes after catastrophic car failure!

Hi guys, I am in need of some serious and urgent advice please.... I own a 51 reg Audi 1.8T 150bhp Quattro (code AVJ), and have just driven it back down from Cumbria to the SE, unfortunately my engine took a turn for the worse, the red oil light came on, the car started sounding like a diesel, and shortly after the car came to an abrupt halt. According to the garage the cam belt was off, and all the rods, and pistons etc were bent and battered beyond repair.

The upshot is that I need to buy another engine for the car (preferably with a slight power hike if possible).

Can anyone advise me on what engine I should be looking for, if you've fitted one yourself, bearing in mind I've got the 01-05 shape A4 quattro, any help is massively appreciated.
