Best place to buy + Advice
Discussion
Hi all...
I'm after a New Touareg and I'm looking for some advice on the best place to buy one etc... so far my local main dealer offered me rock bottom for a trade in and wouldn't move much on RRP, needless to say he won't be getting my business... the other route is Lex Leasing who offer a decent discount off the RRP and improved the offer for the trade in by about a grand.
Questions are...
1. Has anyone any experience of buying direct from a leasing company?
2. Can anyone suggest a better alternative to buy from?
3. I fancy the 3.0SE, how does this model rate to the 2.5 (V10 is way above my budget)?
Best regards

I have bought from a broker with no problems at all.
However what I have just done on my new Audi, is to do my research first on the broker prices and then go into my local dealers, who I never normally have much contact with, and tell them up front, "you get to, or VERY close to this price I'll sign now", and guess what it worked.
So based upon the assumption that most people are generally happier buying from a nearby garage, this is the strategy I would advise.
