Seat Leon 2.0Tdi FR - Tunning

I have put the same question under the Audi / VW forum.

I have ordered a Seat FR with the 170bhp unit. Have been offered the pbox which brings the power up to the Astra 888. I have heard that 170bhp unit is a "crystal unit". Never heard of this to the other day. The Germans have given up trying to tune this unit according to their forums (so I have been told).
Does anyone out there had this unit fitted to the 170 engine and or heard of problems with this engine. Many thanks.

www.celtictuning.co.uk remapped a friends 1.9 Altea when 2 others had tried and said it wasnt possible at all ever. Might be worth a call.
