Getting there slowly
Discussion
Rolling projects are never really finished are they?
Anyway, thought I'd post a few pictures as I'm getting to the end of my most recent round of odd jobs on the Golf (must update profile).
It had been getting pretty rattly and a little slow lately so it came off the road for some TLCWABFOH (tender loving clout with a big f off hammer).
It's had in the last fortnight:
Fuel pump
accumulator
fuel filter
5 new injectors
assorted banjo bolts and bits of fuel line
thermotime switch
Warmup regulator
ARB bushes
And many hours of tinkering, fixing and adjusting.
Still to do:
A wheel bearing
A ball joint
A tie road end.
And an advisory from the MOT man "exhaust LOUD" <- I was particularly pleased with that part
