audi a6 servicing

Hi. does anyone know a good place i can sevice an audi a6 1998 quattro? i have to have the cambelt chain i think replacing and listers quote me £650 just for parts....is that reasonable? i am in midlands area

Try VW/Audi Centre in Stonehouse, Glos. Ask for Dave Turner, tel [phone]. They have always looked after my Audi and they were about £100 cheaper on my last service. Send me a PM if you want more info.

depending on where you are, MRC in Banbury look after my S6, which coincidentaly is also due a major service in the next 400 miles or so....

well in fact i am just 8 miles from banbury, i will phone the Gloc place too
on another note i can see that you have chipped your diesel AUdi DIlligarf, did that make the warranty exprire, could i do the same to my volvo diesel?

The chip upgrade came with a Superchips warranty that supplements the manafacturers warranty. Check out their website or once again Dave Turner can help as he is an authorised Superchips agent.
